Watch how we setup Poseidon with the FAUCET SDN Controller

A while ago, we shot footage of a Poseidon buildout using a Zodiac FX SDN switch and three Raspberry Pis — one of which is utilized as an SDN controller, and the other two of which are nodes on the network. Charlie shows here how he assembled a little SDN network running OpenFlow 1.3, and how Poseidon’s machine learning capability can leverage this environment to learn about devices on the network. This is the first step to automating discovery and defensive actions on an SDN-controlled network topology. It is a whirlwind overview, though, so if you are interested in more details, check out the following:

Cyber Reboot, an IQT lab, challenges the traditional approach to cybersecurity with the goal of rebalancing the equation to increase the cost and complexity for our adversaries while reducing cost and complexity for our defenders.
